A federal judge has denied the city of Quincy's request to dismiss most of a lawsuit filed by a former Illinois prosecutor who was found not guilty in the 2006 death of his first wife.
Curtis Lovelace and his family Friday responded in federal court to a motion to partially dismiss a lawsuit filed by Lovelace against the city of Quincy and others.
Attorneys for the City of Quincy and the Quincy Police Department asked Tuesday for a partial dismissal of the civil rights lawsuit brought by Curtis Lovelace.
