Gavin Retrial To Begin Today in Quincy

Jury selection is scheduled to start today in the re-trial of Steven Gavin on murder charges.
Gavin faces four counts of first degree murder in the November 23, 2015 shooting death of Carlous Wires at 706 North Fourth. A motion for a change of venue was denied in March. Gavin’s first trial on these charges ended in a mistrial last February. Gavin’s attorney is Curtis Lovelace.
