A Hannibal man pleads guilty Monday in Marion County Circuit Court to charges filed in connection with a vehicle theft last February.

20 year old Chayse Mosley pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with a motor vehicle.

Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd accepted the recommendation of Prosecutor David Clayton and sentenced Mosley to a total of four years each resisting and leaving the scene and five years on the tampering charge, with the sentences to be served concurrently.

Mosley is alleged to have stolen a car in Hannibal the morning of February 23rd. After Mosley was spotted by police, he fled, first in the stolen car and then on foot. He was arrested at a home in the 200 block of South Griffin.
