A juvenile and a Nebo man are in custody on a variety of charges.

Pike County, Illinois Sheriff David Greenwood says his department was alerted Monday to a stolen vehicle from Lawrence County, Alabama that was found by local law enforcement in Calhoun County, then fled once again, headed for Pike County.

A chase by vehicle and on foot led to the arrest of the driver of the vehicle and his passenger.

The driver, a juvenile, was taken to the Adams County Youth Home, charged with unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle, aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, no valid driver’s license and resisting arrest.

The passenger, 19 year old Jade Edwards of Nebo, was arrested on a Pike County warrant for criminal sexual abuse and an original charge of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
