A LaBelle man is in the Lewis County Jail on multiple charges.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports his office had received citizen complaints about illegal driving around LaBelle.

An investigation Tuesday led to the arrest of 53 year old Bryan Wurtzberger of LaBelle, who tried to flee from deputies before he was taken into custody.

Wurtzberger had been arrested in July for DWI and possession of meth and was released on bond.

Wurtzberger now faces charges of no valid license and resisting/interfering with arrest.

Wurtzberger is in the Lewis County Jail on a no bond warrant.
