A Canton man was arrested by Lewis County deputies Wednesday on a variety of charges.

Sheriff David Parrish reports 31 year old David Arch II had been wanted for violating conditions of his bond.

Arch had previously been charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest dating back to May of 2020.

Arch is also on supervised probation on a forgery charge from 2015.

There are also burglary and assault charges against Arch in connection with an incident in the Lewis County Jail in March of this year, when he is alleged to have assaulted another inmate.

Bond for David Arch II is set at $45,000 cash only.
