Missing Towboat Worker’s Body Found Near LaGrange

A body found in the Mississippi early Monday afternoon is identified as a man who fell from a barge two weeks ago.

Adams County Coroner Jim Keller says 20-year-old Jacob Climer of Henderson, Tennessee is the man found dead. Keller says Climer drowned after falling into the river. No foul play is suspected.

A helicopter search located the body on the east end of LaGrange Island.
