Quincy Man in Court Following Protection Order Violation

A Quincy man charged with violating an order of protection is to be in court today.
20 year old Gage Patterson was a passenger in a car driven by 16 year old Kaylee Mehochko when the car went into a pond in the Springfield area. Patterson escaped the vehicle. The  victim’s family was granted an order of protection earlier this year against Patterson. An autopsy on Mehochko revealed no signs of trauma. Preliminary cause of death is drowning. Patterson is held in the Adams County Jail.
