A fun summer activity has turned tragic. A 6-year-old St. Louis boy has drowned at a Missouri summer camp according to reports.

The Kansas City Star reported that the drowning occurred at Kennedy Recreation Complex in south St. Louis. KSDK in St. Louis has reported that the boy who drowned was 6-year-old Travone Mister Jr. The drowning happened Wednesday afternoon just after 1pm.

KSDK reports that this was a supervised swim for kids aged 5 through 12. There were apparently other children in the pool when Travone drowned. Reports are that all of the children at the summer camp were sent home after the tragedy.

Officials are reportedly investigating the circumstances of this tragic drowning.
