An investigation is underway into the drowning of a two year old boy Sunday in Ralls County.

According to the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department, the boy, identified as two year old Jameson Williams, was found in a pool at a residence in Center about 8 a.m. Sunday.

Initial reports indicate a group of unattended children had left the house where they were staying Sunday morning and got into a neighbor’s pool without the neighbor’s knowledge.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ralls County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are conducting the investigation.
