Ralls County Sheriff’s Department Investigates Vehicle Burglaries

The Ralls County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a series of vehicle burglaries in the Center area.

Deputies received reports Wednesday of an unknown subject looking through vehicles with a flashlight.

The subject was confronted by one homeowner and fled the area in a dark SUV.

A firearm and money was stolen from one vehicle.

Deputies remind you to make sure your vehicle is locked and no items of value are left unattended.
