12-Year-Old Quincy Boy Drowns in Pond Near Philadelphia

The body of a missing 12 year old Quincy boy was found in a pond near Philadelphia Monday afternoon.

The boy was reported missing Monday morning from a residence near the Dunn Ford Conservation Area.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office called in the Highway Patrol and a number of other agencies to assist in the search.

The boy’s body was found in the pond near the Dunn Ford Access on the Fabius River just before 5 p.m. Monday.

Authorities did not identify the boy. The investigation into the drowning continues.
