Sumner, MO Man Drowns in Marion County Pond Tuesday

A Sumner, Missouri man drowned in a private pond on Marion County Road 144 west of Philadelphia at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The State Water Patrol reports 19 year old Jayden Richardson was kayaking in the pond, fell out of the kayak and failed to resurface.

Richardson was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday by Marion County Coroner Rick Jones.
