Extra Enforcement Results in 31 Traffic Stops Near New London

Extra traffic enforcement Thursday morning on US 61 in Ralls County yields results in 31 traffic stops.
Ralls County Sheriff’s deputies say the extra enforcement results from numerous traffic crashes around the Route A intersection and was funded through MODOT’s Blueprint traffic safety grant. Authorities stopped 31 vehicles for speeding and failing to stop at stop signs at US 61 and Route A. 20 citations and 11 warnings were issued between 9 a-m and noon on Thursday.
