Shelby County Sheriff Needs Your Help to Find Missing Man

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in locating a missing Shelby County man.

According to Chief Deputy Arron Fredrickson, Matthew Allen Shaw was involved in a traffic crash on May 15th on Highway 168 east of Shelbyville.

Shaw reportedly left the scene before law enforcement arrived. Witnesses say Shaw was last seen walking away from the crash into a wooded area.

Deputies, state troopers and family members searched the area unsuccessfully, and Shaw has not been seen or heard from since the 15th.

Matthew Shaw is described as a white male, about 5-foot-5 and 140 pounds, with brown shaggy hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt.
