Canton Man Jailed on Meth Charges, Timewell Man Hurt in Crash
A Timewell man suffers serious injuries in a single vehicle crash on N1200th west of Kellerville in Adams County just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 21 year old Justin Shepherd was eastbound when his SUV ran off the road and struck a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
A passerby was able to get Shepherd away from the vehicle before it went up in flames.
Shepherd was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.
A Canton man is arrested a second time on meth related charges.
Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports 57 year old Michael Henson of Canton was arrested Sunday for possession of methamphetamine.
Henson had previously been arrested for meth possession on August 2nd and released on his own recognizance, on the condition he would be under house arrest.
On Sunday, Henson was found in violation of his bond condition and taken into custody.
Henson is charged with possession of meth and failure to obey a judge’s order.
He is in the Lewis County Jail on $10,000 bond.
Clark County Sheriff Shawn Webster is investigating a rash of thefts of catalytic converters in the county. His office has had reports of vehicle stolen and driven to isolated areas of the county, the converters stolen and the vehicles abandoned. There have also been vehicles with converters removed while they were parked in public parking lots.
