Spooked Horse is a Factor in Lewis County Crash

A crash involving a horse drawn buggy and a pickup at 5:45 Wednesday afternoon injures a Canton man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a horse pulling an Amish buggy spooked and jumped into the path of a pickup driven by 18 year old Karsen Lay of Canton. Lay’s pickup went off Missouri 81 four miles north of Canton and hit a culvert. Lay was taken by private vehicle to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
