Shelbyville Teen Killed in Rollover Crash

A one car crash on Missouri 168 four and a half miles east of Shelbyville at 9:30 Saturday evening claims the life of a Shelbyville teen.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says 15 year old Joshua Kennison of Shelbyville was pronounced dead at the scene by the Shelby County Coroner. Troopers say Kennison was a passenger in a car driven by 17 year old Nicholas Von Thun of Shelbyville when the car went off the road and overturned numerous times before coming to rest in a field. Kennison… Von Thun and two other passengers—14 year old Jacob Pratt and 16 year old Trystin Pratt were all thrown from the car. Troopers say none of the four were wearing seat belts. Jacob and Trystin Pratt were taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. Von Thun was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
