Resurfacing Work Starts Soon On US 36 West of Hannibal

Preparation is starting for resurfacing work on US 36 in Marion County.
Chester Bross Construction is the contractor on the 5.49 million dollar project. Work includes resurfacing and diamond grinding of I-72 from US 61 to the Mississippi River… US 36 eastbound will be resurfaced from west of Monroe City to east of Route H and US 36 eastbound will be resurfaced from just east of US 24/61 to US 61 at Hannibal.  Work will begin with pavement repairs in the eastbound lane just east of US 24/61 to US 61. The projects are expected to be complete by November 1^st.
