Interstate 72 Pike County Road Maintenance Begins This Week
The Illinois Department of Transportation reports construction on Interstate 72 in Pike County begins this week.

IDOT officials say the work will extend from the I-172 interchange to west of Hull.
The work will consist of removal of sections of pavement expansion joints, placement of reinforcement and concrete patching.
Traffic on I-72 will be reduced to one lane in both directions while the work is being done.
The work is expected to complete by early July.
