Ralls County Carjacking Suspect Caught

The suspect sought in connection with an armed carjacking in Hannibal on Saturday is now in custody.

40-year-old Kenneth W. Suggs of Jasper, Florida was apprehended after a three-day search conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies. A tip from a citizen led authorities a site near Doe Run Road where Suggs was discovered. He is believed to have been in that area since being last seen at the Love's Truck Stop on Highway 19 on Saturday.

Residents in the area are encouraged to check barns, sheds, vehicles, and other outbuildings for missing items and to report any to the Sheriff's Office. In addition, anyone who may have had contact with Suggs (provided money, transportation, clothing, etc.) is asked to contact the Ralls County Sheriff's Office.

Suggs allegedly forced a woman to drive him from Hannibal to New London on Saturday evening. He is currently being held on a 24-hour hold in the Marion County Jail while charges are pending.
