QFD Warns Of ‘Fire Magnet’ Sponsorship Deal
The Quincy Fire Department took to Facebook Tuesday afternoon to warn Quincyans of a potential scam in the area. According to the post, a company known as “Fire Safety Magnets” is claiming to be selling sponsorships with the provision that proceeds will benefit both the Quincy Fire Department and the Tri-Township Fire Department.
Multi-State Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Kellogg’s Cereal
Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal has been linked to 73 cases of Salmonella Mbandaka including one in Illinois according to a release from the Illinois Department of Health. The outbreak has been linked to 30 other states as well.
