Quincy Schools Extend Collective Bargaining Agreement

An extension to the collective bargaining agreement between Quincy Public Schools and the Quincy Federation of Teachers is in place.
Quincy Board of Education members approved the extension this (MON) morning after ratification Friday by the QFT. The contract is extended to June 30 of 2023 pending voter approval of a 53 cent tax referendum at the polls on March 17th. If passed… the referendum wpould generate an estimated 5.3 million dollars to cover the cost of various new state mandates.
