In a Facebook post Monday, Superintendent Roy Webb announced five new positive coronavirus cases in the schools – two at the high school, one each at Rooney and Iles elementary schools and one remote student.

Webb says personnel are now tracking 23 active cases in the district, with most of the cases traced to a positive family member.

Webb also said they are not seeing a spread of COVID in the schools, but the rise in cases in the community is a concern.
