No Traffic Fatalities Reported Over New Year’s in Missouri

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says there were no traffic fatalities during
the New Year’s counting period from 6 p-m Tuesday through 11:59 Wednesday. Troopers investigated a total of 79 accidents across the state resulting in 34 injuries.
There were no boating crashes or drownings. Troopers also report making 56 DWI arrests statewide. Three of the DWI arrests occurred in northeast Missouri. Troopers say there were single DWI arrests in Ralls, Lewis and Clark Counties.
