Newark Man Dead, Bethel Woman Charged in Fatal Crash

A Newark motorcyclist is dead and a Bethel woman is in jail as the result of a two vehicle crash on Lewis County Route D south of LaBelle at 6 p.m. Friday.

The Highway Patrol reports 56 year old Tresa Castle of Bethel was northbound when her pickup crossed the center line and struck a southbound motorcycle, operated by 52 year old Glenn Randall of Newark.

Randall was pronounced dead at the scene.

Castle was arrested for DWI resulting in death. She was taken to the Lewis County Jail.
