New Transportation Priority for Marion County Commissioners

A bypass around Hannibal is no longer on Marion County’s list of priorities.

Presiding Commissioner Lyndon Bode says project size, funding available from MODOT, and a recent Hannibal City Council vote against the bypass are factors in the change.

Topping the list of priorities is an upgrade of the US 61/US 24/Route F interchange south of Palmyra.
