(PALMYRA)—Marion County Commissioners are seeking public comment on a possible quarter cent sales tax increase. Presiding Commissioner Lyndon Bode says funds generated would cover projects on 460 miles of county roads. One of those projects is replacing river rock on gravel roads with white rock. The expected 900-thousand dollars a year would also cover some other items including work on black top roads.

Your input is sought before the January 21st deadline to decide whether to put the matter before Marion County voters in the April election.
