Lovelace Defense Submits Supplemental Witness List

The defense team in the Curtis Lovelace murder retrial submitted a supplemental witness list Tuesday.

The additional list of 30 potential witnesses filed with Judge Bob Hardwick includes Lovelace’s former defense attorney Jeff Page, Quincy High School Principal Danielle Arnold, two Quincy Police officers, and Lovelace, himself.

The prosecution has yet to provide a witness list.

Curtis Lovelace is alleged to have murdered his first wife, Corey Lovelace, in 2006. His first trial ended in a hung jury a year ago.

The retrial will take place in Sangamon County on a change of venue.
