Lovelace Case to Again be Featured on ’48 Hours’ Saturday
For the second time, the Curtis Lovelace case will be featured on an episode of the CBS show “48 Hours.”
Lovelace was acquitted of the murder of his first wife, Cory, in a Sangamon County courtroom a week ago.
The first trial, held in Quincy a little over a year ago, ended in a hung jury. Shortly after that trial ended, 48 Hours aired an episode on the case, entitled, “What Did the Children See?”
Saturday night’s part two, entitled, “Death on Valentine’s Day,” will feature updates from the second trial and the verdict, along with interviews with KHQA’s Jenny Dreasler and Curtis and Christine Lovelace.
48 Hours can be seen on KHQA Saturday night at 9.
