A business that had been part of a northeast Missouri faith-based community for a dozen years has been sold.

In a press release, Sharpe Holdings, Inc. announces the sale of Heartland Creamery to LaClare Family Creamery of Malone, Wisconsin. The sale is expected to be completed in the next several weeks.

Heartland Creamery’s products include cow and goat cheese and milk products distributed throughout the tri-state area and beyond.

Earlier this year, the assets of Heartland Dairy were sold to LaBelle Dairy of LaBelle, Missouri.

Heartland Creamery was founded in 2005 by Charlie Sharpe, who also founded the Heartland Community.

Charlie Sharpe died in February of this year.
