Knox County Man Jailed on Child Molestation Charges

A Knox County is in the Lewis County Jail on child molestation charges.

Knox County Sheriff Allen Gudehus reports an investigation led to the arrest last Friday of 39-year-old Jason Haley of Newark. He is charged with first degree child molestation, sodomy and incest.

The underage sexual activity is alleged to have taken place on the property of the Heartland Community near Bethel between September 2011 and March 2012.

Haley is scheduled for arraignment in Knox County Court October 27.
