A 100-thousand dollar grant moves Culver Stockton College closer to full funding for a major building project.
School officials announced Monday receipt of a 100-thousand dollar grant from the Mabee Foundation toward their experiential learning program. Culver Stockton plans an addition to the student center to house the program. Vice President of Academic Affairs Lauren Schellenberger says the experiential learning programs ranges from creative expression to research and innovation, travel study and lots of other opportunities for other types of experiential learning as well. Plans are to have demonstrations in the new facility and provide resources for students and faculty engaged in experiential learning.

Culver-Stockton officials say the project is 80% funded. They hope to begin construction on it in the summer of 2021.
