More accolades for a Culver Stockton Wildcat football player.

Junior offensive tackle Andrew Rupcich is named to the 2019 Associated Press NAIA All-America football team. Rupcich is a second team choice on the team selected by a panel of sports information directors and the A.P.

Rupcich is a two-time All-Heart of America Athletic Conference first team selection. he's also on the NAIA All-America first team as selected by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) earlier this month. He was also the 219 recipient of the Piesman Trophy, which goes to an interior lineman for doing something un-lineman like during a game. That award comes thanks to a 43 yard pass in September against Benedictine.

Rupcich and his line mates blocked for one of the post prolific offenses in the NAIA.  The Wildcat offense finished the regular season ranked seventh in the NAIA in passing offense with 3,208 yards, and passing yards per game with 291.6 yards per contest. He also led a C-SC offensive line that allowed just 13 sacks this season, ranking 14th in the NAIA.

Culver finished the 2019 campaign with their first on-field winning season since 2001, finishing 6-5 overall. C-SC also placed second in the Heart of America Athletic Conference's North Division with a 4-1 league mark.
