A rural Quincy business will benefit from a COVID-19 related grant.

The Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials announced Thursday the awarding of a $5,000 grant to Terripin Farms to help in the business’ work helping those suffering from the consequences of COVID-19.

The grant will allow Terripin Farms to continue to provide produce to participants in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP.

The grant money comes from the Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois and Northeast Missouri and the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies.
