Former Vets License Suspension Extended by State Regulators
A former Quincy veterinarian whose license was suspended has had that suspension extended by state regulators.
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation announced that the suspension of the vets license of 69 year old Dr. Andrew Kaiser of Palmyra has been extended indefinitely for at least another three years.
Kaiser, who had operated the Katherine Road Animal Clinic in Quincy, was arrested by Quincy Police early in 2018 for animal cruelty.
Kaiser was to have stood trial, but pleaded guilty to unprofessional conduct and unlicensed practice, in exchange for surrendering his license.
Regulators first suspended Kaiser’s license in 2017.
