Trial Date Set For Dr. Kaiser in Animal Cruelty Case

A trial date has been set for a Quincy veterinarian charged with animal cruelty.

At a hearing in Adams County Circuit Court Friday, a jury trial was scheduled to April 10th for Dr. Andrew Kaiser.

Kaiser was charged with criminal misdemeanor animal cruelty in connection with an alleged mistreatment of a dog under his care at Katherine Road Animal Hospital.

Kaiser is also under investigation by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. A hearing in that case is set for January 10th.
