Ewing Man Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop

A Ewing man is in the Lewis County Jail after fleeing a traffic stop over the weekend.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports 37 year old Curtis Robbins was traveling on State Highway J Saturday when a deputy spotted him.

Robbins was wanted on various Lewis County warrants and prior warrants for failure to appear, so the deputy attempted to make a traffic stop.

Robbins fled the scene, but was taken into custody after a short pursuit.

Robbins now faces an additional charge of resisting a lawful stop. He is being held on $2,500 cash only bond.
