Downing Man Held Following Friday Shootings

A Downing man faces first degree murder charges following a Friday shooting.
20 year old Takoda Reese also faces felony armed criminal action and assault with a deadly weapon charges following an incident in Downing. A 26 year old man is dead and a 24 year old female was hospitalized with what authorities term non life threatening injuries.  Schuyler County Sheriff’s deputies and the Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control are investigating.
