A month long investigation into a rural Quincy shooting results in two arrests Thursday.

The shooting took place in early July on Highway 57. The investigation led to the arrests of 29 year old Stefan Crider III and 32 year old Donte Clausell, both of Quincy.

The two are charged with attempted first degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Crider and Clausell are in the Adams County Jail on $500,000 bond.

Assisting Adams County deputies in the arrests were the United State Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Quincy Police Department Street Crimes Unit.
