Death of Center Infant Termed Accidental

Ralls County Sheriff’s deputies say the cause of death for a three month old Center girl appears to be accidental.

Deputies were called at 10:47 Monday morning to a report of CPR in progress at a residence on South Public in Center. A news release from the Sheriff’s department says the girl was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ralls County Coroner.  The matter remains under investigation and deputies say additional information may be released as appropriate.
