Hannibal Man Arrested on Suspicion of Burglary

A Hannibal man awaits formal charges in connection with a burglary in Ralls County last week.

The Ralls County Sheriff’s office received a report of a burglary February 28th in the 10,000 block of Peters Road in rural Hannibal.

An investigation revealed a subject entered a building on the property, taking tools and other items.

Evidence at the scene led to the arrest Wednesday evening of 46 year old Robert Ames.

Ames is lodged in the Pike County Jail pending review of the case by the Ralls County Prosecuting Attorney.
