Hannibal Man Arrested for Storage Shed Burglaries
A Hannibal man is in the Marion County on theft charges.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies along with Hannibal Police executed a search warrant Tuesday morning at a residence in the 200 block of North Griffith Street in Hannibal.
The search resulted in the recovery of a number of stolen items.
Authorities say the items were stolen Sunday from eight different storage sheds at the E&B Storage facilities west of Hannibal.
An investigation led to the arrest Tuesday of 26 year old Zachary Laffey of Hannibal.
Laffey is currently on probation from the Missouri Department of Corrections for theft, theft of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
Laffey was charged Tuesday with second degree burglary and lodged in the Marion County Jail on $25,000 bond.
