City Kicks off ‘Hannibal Proud’ Campaign

The city of Hannibal kicked off a campaign Tuesday to recognize home and property owners who keep their corner of the world looking good.

The Hannibal Proud campaign makes yard signs available for display for any resident with no code violations on their home or property.

The first sign was posted Tuesday morning on the east side of City Hall.

The program is sponsored by the City of Hannibal in conjunction with other community businesses and civic organizations.

A contest honoring renovations and gardens will be launched in the spring.
