Brenner Announces Candidacy for Circuit Judge

A long time Quincy attorney has announced his candidacy for circuit judge.

57 year old Tad Brenner Tuesday announced that he would run for theRepublican nomination for the seat previously held by Mark Drummond, who retired last week.

The Illinois Supreme Court appointed Quincy attorney Drew Erwin to fill out Drummond’s term.

Erwin has announced that he will run to retain his appointment.

Brenner has been a trial lawyer for 32 years.

The 8th Judicial Circuit includes eight western Illinois counties, including Adams, Brown and Pike counties.
