Bowen Man Dead Following Traffic Crash

A collision on a Hancock County road late Tuesday afternoon claims the life of a Bowen man.

Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by 53 year old Timothy Hallesy of Bowen collided with a car driven by 28 year old Tessa Self of Bowen. Hallesy was pronounced dead at the scene. Self was taken via helicopter to a Springfield hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
