Two dozen new cases and two additional COVID related deaths were reported in the area Monday.

The Hancock County Health Department reported nine new lab confirmed cases of coronavirus in the last week. Their case total is 1,741, with eight isolated and 34 deaths.

In Pike County, Illinois, eight new COVID cases were reported, also in the last week. The Pike County case total is now 1,752, with ten active, two hospitalized and 47 deaths.

The Adams County Health Department reported three new coronavirus cases, bringing their case total to 8,273, with 95 active, 15 hospitalized, three in ICU and two additional deaths, running that total to 119.

Officials in Marion County also reported three new COVID cases since Friday. Their case total is now 3,738, with 12 active, three hospitalized and 65 deaths.

And, the Brown County Health Department reported one new coronavirus case since Friday, bringing their case total to 691, with four active and seven deaths.
