Bowen Man Arrested on Sexual Abuse Charges

A Bowen man is in the Hancock County Jail on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

According to Sheriff Scott Bentzinger, 37 year old Marvin Leo “Jay” Kirby was arrested by deputies at his home Monday.

Kirby is alleged to have had sexual contact with a female minor who, at the time of the offense, was at least 13 but under 17 years of age.

Kirby is being held on $250,000 bond.
