Quincy Man Arrested on Sexual Abuse Charges

An investigation results in the arrest Thursday of a Quincy man on sexual abuse charges.

The Quincy Police investigation began in March after a harassment complaint, but the focus shifted after a minor female alleged there had been a sexual relationship.

Investigators then interviewed 29 year old Curtis Hightire and searched his residence.

Hightire was taken into custody and charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Hightire is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
