Pittsfield Man Arrested on Sexual Abuse, Solicitation Charges

A three-month investigation leads to the arrest of a Pittsfield man on sexual abuse and other charges.

Pike County, Illinois Sheriff David Greenwood reports the investigation which began in early March led to the arrest last week of 19 year old Ethan Scott.

Scott was arrested on outstanding warrants for aggravated criminal sexual abuse, indecent solicitation of a child, unlawful grooming and harmful material to a child.

Scott’s alleged victims were over 13 and under 17 years of age.

Scott is free on bond.
